February 2008
Located north of Selby between North Duffield and Skipwith this extensive area of lowland heath is home to many wild Exmoor Ponies.
In February 2008 there was a good deal of surface water and peaty pools which lent a magical feel to the landscape.
This day was the first brightly sunlit day for weeks and was crisp with a slight frost and ice on the pools.
Lovely walking and great light for photography.
