First sunny afternoon for several weeks.

Managed to get to Fairburn Ings late afternoon just as the light was fading.

This afternoons stars were undoubtedly the Tufted Ducks and the Black Swans.

This fantastic reserve just off the A1 and close to FerryBridge Powerstation is easy to reach, open to the public and accessible.

2 weeks ago the place where I stood to take these photo's was under nearly 7 feet of water as the nearby River Aire was in flood.
